A hands-on event to get into the world of AI and not just using the ai chat websites, but running it locally on your own device.
What You will learn:
- Brief history and intro of LLMs and AI
- Selecting an LLM for local use
- Running LLM and AI Models on a Pi 5
- Using Local AI as a coding Assistant
We will be demonstrating local Ai running on Raspberry Pi 5 with the new AI HAT+ 2 and create a local AI Chat and Code Assistant – we will also try out different ai models.
BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE EVENT Please bring your own Laptop – where you can download and install software
What we willbe using
A juiced up Pi 5 with AI HAT+ 2, 5inch touch Screen, a Pi Camera 2 and a Power Button – just in case the AI becomes self aware
What we will be coding
A Keyboard Typing Trainer on a Keyboard – utilizing Pi 500+ and its cool RGB LEDs
